Recipe for carrot noodles with Peanut sauce

Summer in Taiwan can be excruciating. Even short walks from your home to the MRT are a small torture and can become quite embarrassing when you made a wrong wardrobe choice – Hello sweat stains!  I forgot the last time I slept without the AC running on full blast. I am probably going to miss the cracking sound once the weather decides to cool down. These days I don’t really feel the urge for starchy food, therefore I decided to give the little vegetable spiral slicer a go that I brought with me from Germany and make some carrot noodles. The […]

Etude House Precious Mineral Any Cushion

Before I moved to Taiwan I have never been much of a cosmetics person. Don’t get me wrong, I am a girly girl that likes makeup and fashion but I hardly ever used moisturizer when I still lived in Germany. Totoro Mini Succulent Garden

I love plants but unfortunately the feeling does not seem to be mutual. 🙁  Every time I go on a business trip, back to Europe to visit my family or the sun just gets a little bit too crazy, at least one of my plants decides to commit suicide. When I opened my fridge on Saturday morning, I noticed that I had nothing but some toast, butter, eggs, pea sprouts and tomatoes. Therefore, I decided to go for some really simple and easy breakfast and made Egg In A Hole. I love how the name is so literal.  The eggs I had in my fridge were organic eggs by the black boned chicken which are very tiny, therefore I had to use 2 eggs to fill one […]

DIY shelf

When I moved to Taipei, I was looking for a small, cozy place to live. Which I found. Don’t get me wrong, I like my apartment, however, there is one thing that I am not a big fan of. Which is the kitchen. Reason #1: It is tiny.  Reason #2: There is no oven. Reason #3: It is tiny. But have a look for yourself. It is adorable and functional but as a foodie and passionate cook, I sometimes wished there was more storage space. I would have never thought that I would miss something as simple and stupid as a drawer.  My […]
